Ahmed Al-Nuaim

Product manager who understands both the business and the code, working in fintech and on ideas of my own.

I came to product from the technical side, so I can talk with engineers in their language while keeping the focus on the people who use the product. I like to find the real problem first, then test ideas with quick prototypes before anyone writes production code.

Work

  • Lead mobile SDK product development, from requirements to cross-platform validation.
  • Define requirements and user stories, and build interactive prototypes to validate features before launch.
  • Contribute to risk and compliance initiatives through product requirements, market research and prototyping.
  • Write technical documentation and release notes for SDK integrations.
  • Supported IT governance, risk and compliance work, including security risk assessments and patch management.
  • Built an internal Communication Matrix website that brings employee communication channels into one place.
  • Taught 7 technical courses across more than 5 events: bot programming, data analytics, cybersecurity and Python.
  • Coordinated team leads, ran monthly evaluations and helped plan events and workshops.

Projects

Things I built outside my day job.

Something new2026 – now A side project in its early stages, about kids and online safety. More soon.

Problem

Citizens often don't know which government authority handles an issue, so reports get lost or arrive late.

What we built

A Flutter and Firebase mobile app with a web dashboard. Citizens report an issue with photos; AI classifies it and routes it to the right authority, which tracks response times and trends.

Result

Won third place for best graduation project. A research paper on the system is being prepared for publication.

Problem

Finding the right spare part usually means calling or visiting shop after shop.

What we built

A marketplace where car owners search for a part, compare offers from trusted merchants, and order it through the app.

Result

Accepted into CODE, the Ministry of Communications and IT's startup incubator. We took it to an advanced stage, then stopped working on it in 2025.
